We have some thrilling news to share with our Moncus Park community! Our beloved play area is set to receive a fantastic upgrade with the addition of a second treehouse, thanks to the generous support of the Richard & Valerie House family. Their contribution is not just expanding our play space but also enhancing our park’s ability to serve the community.

The new addition will not only provide more magical space for play and exploration but will also open up opportunities for us to host parties, events, and other gatherings. This means the new treehouse and deck will also become a vital funding generator for the park, supporting our ongoing maintenance and development projects.

To make room for these exciting developments, the Savoy Family Treehouse will be temporarily closed. Here’s what we’re working on during the closure:

• Construction of the new treehouse
• Staining of the original treehouse boards to keep them looking fresh
• Building an ADA-accessible deck and pathway to ensure everyone in our community can enjoy the new space

We’re working hard to minimize the downtime and expect to reopen next month. We can’t wait for you to see the upgraded Treehouse experience, which promises double the fun and adventure!
