Donors have been receptive when asked to support the creation of a public park at the former UL Horse Farm on Johnston Street, Dave Calhoun, executive director of Lafayette Central Park Inc., said Tuesday. “In talking to potential large donors, I have not been turned down yet,” Calhoun told the Lafayette Public Trust Financing Authority.
