Moncus Park, Lafayette’s nonprofit greenspace, is thrilled to announce its summer programming schedule promising an unforgettable season filled with wellness programs, delicious cuisine, and exciting activities!
The Park will host a range of family-friendly programs, ensuring that everyone can find something to enjoy. From food trucks under Live Oaks to drum circles and wellness experiences designed to promote a healthy lifestyle, families will have ample opportunities to bond, have fun, and create lasting memories together this summer at Moncus Park!
Special Programs
- International Day of Yoga with LuLulemon and Moncus Park
- Date: Wednesday, June 21st
- Time: 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm
- The free program will feature rejuvenating yoga sessions, soothing breath work, transformative sound baths, live music, and a vibrant array of vendors and food trucks.
- National Food Truck Day, presented by Home Bank
- Date: Friday, June 30th
- Time: 11:00 am to 8:00 pm
- National Food Truck Day at Moncus Park will showcase a diverse lineup of 14 food trucks, each offering unique culinary creations and mouthwatering delicacies. From gourmet burgers and authentic Mexican to local seafood and sweet treats, there will be something to satisfy every craving! Vendors include: The Funnel Factory, Sweet Magnolia Creamery, Nina Creole, C’est Bon Manger, Kitchen on Klinton, Mo’s LA Seafood, Exquisite Gourmet Cotton Candy, Big Thane’s, Fiestout Services, Smiley Ice, Southern Kreole’ Cravings & Pastries, La Cara De Nopal, ABG on Wheels, The Louisiana Bean.

Moncus Park is a supporter-funded nonprofit dedicated to developing and maintaining these 100 acres of greenspace, showcasing the cultures and talents of Acadiana, uniting communities through celebrations, and creating traditions together. Moncus Park does not receive local tax dollars for maintenance or operations, nor is it included in Lafayette Consolidated Government’s annual budget.
