Hopefest Music Festival by St. Thomas More

The St. Thomas More Catholic High School Junior class is hosting the 15th annual Hopefest Music Festival on Saturday, April 2nd, 2022. Hopefest is an event that benefits the STM Options Program serving special needs students, along with a local charity researched and selected by our Junior class. This event is FREE and open to the public.
Hopefest is an outdoor festival that includes live music, fun family-friendly activities, and much more. Starting at 10:00 am is our annual 5K run, which benefits St. Thomas More’s Options Program. Festivities will begin at 11:00 am. All proceeds from Hopefest are directed to two different recipients that care for people in need. One recipient is St. Thomas More Catholic High School’s Options Program, which enables special needs teens to receive a St. Thomas More education. It provides the tools for the students to prepare for the workforce after graduation. The other recipient for 2022 is Foster the Love Louisiana. Their mission is to encourage and support foster and adoptive families; to empower and support children, youth, and families affected by trauma; and to educate the community on the needs of the foster system. As the Class of 2023, we feel a conviction to live what we’ve learned and compassion to help those in most need in our Acadiana community. It is our hope that you will join us in this charitable effort through financial support and/or in-kind assistance.
The charitable organization selected this year is Foster the Love Louisiana, which serves foster children and families in the Acadiana area by providing foster children with belongings that are uniquely their own, such as duffel bags, pajamas, and toothbrushes.
