Veterans in the Park

Join us at “Veterans in the Park” on Flag Day, June 14th, presented by the Moncus Park Veterans Memorial Committee for a day of remembrance and education!

 Highlights include a performance of the National Anthem, a keynote address from the Deputy Secretary of the Louisiana Department of Veterans Affairs, and a detailed flag-folding demonstration that explains the symbolic significance of each fold.

 Light refreshments will be provided. This gathering is an opportunity for community members to engage with veterans, share stories, and offer their thanks and support!
