Lafayette Farmers & Artisans Market
Lafayette Farmers & Artisans Market
Every Saturday | 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM | Moncus Park | Rain or Shine
There is no better way to start a Saturday in Acadiana. Every week, the Lafayette Farmers and Artisans Market transforms the heart of Moncus Park into a lively gathering place, where local farmers, artisans, and craftspeople come together to share the best of our region.
Wander the rows and you will find tables overflowing with just-picked produce, local honey, fresh flowers, baked goods, handmade crafts, and one-of-a-kind finds from the makers who pour their hearts into them. Whether you come for the produce, the people, or simply the joy of a morning outdoors, the market is where Lafayette starts its weekend. Come hungry, shop local, and make a morning of it!
Parking & Getting There
We guide thousands of visitors in and out every Saturday morning, so parking may take a few extra minutes during peak times, but our team keeps things moving all morning! Our parking lot is $2 per hour, or free for Moncus Park members. All proceeds support Moncus Park, a nonprofit park conservancy. Please only park at Moncus Park, towing is strictly enforced by a third party in neighboring lots. Prefer to skip the parking altogether? Walking or biking in is always a breeze!
Weekly Vendor Lineup
Curious who’s setting up shop this Saturday? Check the Lafayette Farmers & Artisans Market Facebook page the Friday before market day for the full vendor list.
Become a Vendor
Interested in joining us as a farmer, artisan, or maker? The Lafayette Farmers & Artisans Market is a producer-only market, meaning all products sold must be grown, raised, baked, crafted, or otherwise produced by the vendor. Reselling products made by someone else is not permitted.
Vendor applications are accepted twice each year during the following application periods:
- January 1 – February 15
- July 1 – August 15
The market currently hosts more than 150 vendors, and many categories are at capacity. At this time, we are not accepting applications from most non-farm-based vendors until the next application period. However, we are always interested in hearing from local producers of fresh produce, meat, dairy, and other farm-based products.
Before applying, please review our vendor categories and eligibility requirements in the Market Rules & Regulations. Questions can be directed to market@moncuspark.org.
