On-site parking is $20, and every dollar goes straight back into Moncus Park's operations, maintenance, and gardens. To park on-site, enter Moncus Park from the south. 2913 Johnston Street, Lafayette, LA 70503.

Free Shuttle

Free parking is available at Blackham Coliseum with a free shuttle, presented by Service Chevrolet Cadillac, with rides by Hotard Coaches. Shuttle service begins at 5:00 PM each evening. Shuttles are ADA friendly. 2330 Johnston Street, Lafayette, LA 70503.

A few things to know before you head out for the night.

When to arrive

Come early for the best parking and the shortest shuttle wait, gates open in the early evening and the park fills in fast once the sun goes down.

What to bring

Wear layers and comfortable shoes for walking the grounds. Cash and cards are both handy for food trucks and the Merry Market.

Accessibility

Moncus Park's pathways are paved and stroller and wheelchair friendly throughout the main event area. Accessible parking is available near the main entrance for guests who need it.

Christmas in the Park happens rain or shine. If severe weather affects a night, we'll announce any changes the day of on our social media.

Good to Know

Are pets allowed?

We ask that you leave pets at home. With live music, crowds, and lots of excitement, it's a loud night that's easier on your furry friend from the comfort of home.

What if my child gets separated from our group?

Head to the information booth near the main entrance, our staff and volunteers are ready to help reunite your family quickly.

What should I wear?

Dress comfy and festive. Holiday attire is always welcome, and there's something for every age to enjoy.

Do I need a ticket?

Admission is free for the entire community, no ticket required. To park on-site, enter Moncus Park from the south, or take the free shuttle from Blackham Coliseum.
