eBird is among the world’s largest biodiversity-related science projects, with more than 100 million bird sightings contributed annually by eBirders around the world and an average participation growth rate of approximately 20% year over year. A collaborative enterprise with hundreds of partner organizations, thousands of regional experts, and hundreds of thousands of users, eBird is managed by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology.

Download the Nature’s Notebook app and take a stroll around Lake Reaux to collect seasonal observations on plants that are important contributors to bird, insect, and pollinator habitats.

Moncus Park is a partner site for the Time to Restore program and the USA National Phenology Network. The observations collected in the Nature’s Notebook app helps researchers better understand how plants and animals are responding to our changing environment. Observation data is also used to improve decision making pertaining to wildlife protection, allergy and asthma alerts, invasive species management, and more
