Accordion Building Demonstration

For over 30 years, Martin Accordions has hand-built Cajun accordions right here in Acadiana, crafting the sweet, rich sound that Cajun and Zydeco music is known for. Join us as Martin Accordions brings the workshop to Moncus Park, showcasing the parts and process behind making an accordion by hand! Guests will have the chance to hold and even play one of these handcrafted instruments. It’s a hands-on look at the craftsmanship behind a true piece of Acadiana culture.
