“Women Rise Up! Experiences Empower a Woman’s Voice” with Dr. Roxanne Bourque

Seminar Description: To know a woman, you must understand her story.  Women own dynamic lived experiences that emerge from our stories. This presentation will focus on how to use your personal story to strengthen your voice.  It is important to realize that lived experiences can inspire and empower movement for change. Now is the time for the dynamic voices of women to rise up as leaders. We will examine possibilities, ways to exercise your voice to become reflective practitioners of lived experiences. A woman’s voice can inspire and empower others through realization of self-identity, ownership, empowerment, and release.

This program is part of Moncus Park’s Womens History Month “Speaker Series” presented by Women of Wisdom. This session will be held in the Moncus Park conference room at 2901 Johnston Street in the 2nd floor conference room.
