Acadiana Seize The Day Warrior Walk & 5K

Epilepsy Alliance Louisiana is hosting the 3rd annual Seize the Day Acadiana on September 20, 2026 at Moncus Park. This year, we’re excited to announce the return of the 5K run, joining our signature 1‑mile Warrior Walk.

What to Expect: The Seize the Day Warrior Walk in Acadiana is all about supporting those with epilepsy and raising awareness in the community. Whether you walk, run, or roll your way to the finish line, the focus is on having FUN and showing solidarity! After the walk and 5K, enjoy music, food, games, and connect with others in the epilepsy community. Since seating is limited, we recommend bringing outdoor chairs or blankets for your comfort.

Event Schedule:
8:00 am to 8:45 am: Same-day registration and packet pick-up
9:00 am: Warrior Walk begins
9:30 am: 5K begins

9:30 am: Family fun activities, including food, drinks, and music
10:45 am: Awards
12:00 pm: Event ends
