Join us for a heartfelt afternoon honoring the men and women who have served our nation.
Hosted by the Lafayette Veterans Affairs Committee, in partnership with Lafayette Consolidated Government (LCG), the Acadiana Veteran Alliance (AVA), and Moncus Park, Salute to Service celebrates Lafayette’s enduring commitment to its veterans and their families.
Set around the Veterans Memorial and Savoy Family Treehouse, this community gathering will feature:

Live acoustic music under the oaks

Food & beverage trucks offering local favorites

️ Commemorative veteran pins, provided by AVA and LFT Fiber
A highlight of the afternoon will be a special recognition presented to a local veteran on behalf of Mayor-President Monique B. Boulet and the Lafayette Veterans Affairs Commission—a gesture of gratitude for their service and sacrifice.
Bring your family, friends, and neighbors to enjoy an afternoon of reflection, connection, and appreciation in the heart of the park.
