Acadiana Duck Derby by Second Harvest Food Bank
Second Harvest Food Bank will host its first-ever Acadiana Duck Derby to help provide meals for children and families facing hunger in Acadiana. This family-friendly event will take place on Saturday, April 9 at 3:00 p.m. at Moncus Park.
This year, 15,000 $5 rubber ducks are available for a chance to win the grand prize of $5,000 and other great prizes. Each duck is assigned a unique race number and will be dropped into Wetland Pond at Moncus Park.
The first 11 ducks to cross the finish line will be identified by the ducks’ unique race numbers and announced at the conclusion of the race. (Winners need not be present to win).
