Party in the Park presented by Party Central scheduled for Sunday, May 22nd at Moncus Park has been CANCELED due to forecasted thunderstorms and gusty winds. ⛈😔

Putting the safety of our guests and event partners first, the team at Moncus Park made the final decision to call off the event this morning.

We'll have PLENTY of free & fun activities for the kids including FunJumps courtesy of Acadiana FunJumps, arts & crafts with Lafayette Art Association & Gallery, and interactive fun with Mosquito Authority!!

Between our tents and mobile shade structures, we have plenty of coverage to keep you all safe from the sun! Don't forget your chairs & blankets!!

WOW! We are still in awe of the generosity shown to Moncus Park during #SOLAGivingDay!

Your support will assist in the funding of the operations and beautification of Moncus Park, including the care and preservation of our Live Oaks, the maintenance of 100 acres, daily Park sanitation, landscaping, and mowing, the treatment of invasive species, waste receptacle bags throughout the Park, and tools for our volunteers who willingly give their time to support this Park!!
